There may be trouble in Paradise, but not for showrunner Dan Fogelman. Hulu put a lot of trust into the This Is Us creator’s postapocalyptic drama starring Sterling K. Brown, and Fogelman has yet to disappoint audiences. The series boasts gripping and campy twists at the end of every episode, with Brown’s character thrown left and right as he continues his search for his missing wife.
Luckily for fans, Paradise is already renewed for season 3. The bad news? The third season is also likely its last. Fogelman originally outlined a complete three-season arc when he pitched the streamer his idea for Paradise. So far, it’s seemingly gone according to plan. “It’s going to be a three-season show,” Fogelman told The Hollywood Reporterin January 2025. “I know where it goes. I know what the shape of each season is. … I didn’t have it all mapped out when I wrote it, but by the time people got the first script, I knew where it was going to go.”

Is Link involved in the potential time-travel plot?
Major spoilers for season 2, episode 7ahead, but fans are highly invested in that road map following the latest reveal: Xavier Collins’s (Brown) wife is not only alive, but the two are finally reunited. So where will the series go now? What are Collins’s visions about? Who—or what—is Alex? And … is time travel involved?
As executive producer and writer John Hoberg told THRat the season 2 premiere, season 3 will likely bring the groups outside and inside the bunker into conflict. “[Season 2] is setting up that there are a lot of things going on in two different places, and if I were a viewer, I would wonder if those two different things might come together at some point,” he teased.
Hoberg also revealed that the ending to season 3 will likely also mark the end of the series. “We know what the end is, and it’s an end that would make it very difficult to make a season 4 come afterward,” he said. Still, you should never rule anything out. If any team can keep a TV series interesting, it’s the group behind Paradise.
