Entertainment Marvel Move is an interactive fitness adventure releasing in summer 2023 from the creators of Zombies, Run!

Who said exercising can’t be fun? Everything’s more entertaining when you gamify it. Six to Start has already made its mark in this genre with their superhit fitness app Zombies, Run!, where you literally have to run to survive. The developers have collaborated with Marvel Entertainment for their next project, Marvel Move, an interactive fitness adventure that’s releasing this summer.

Marvel Move will mark the first time we see superheroes delve into the interactive fitness genre, and it’s about to be a blockbuster. Fan-favourite characters like Thor, Loki, The Hulk, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and even the X-Men, will also be available at launch. All of them will be featured in effective and body-positive training programs.

Users can choose between walking, jogging, and running while listening to immersive audio narratives of original stories set in the Marvel Universe. The tales have been crafted in a way that runners are the centre of the story with a huge cast of supporting characters along the way. Who better to help you get fit than your favourite superhero?

Speaking about interactive fitness games, Adrian Hon, CEO and co-founder of Six to Start, said: “There’s nothing more motivating than combining exercise and storytelling. Ten years of making the world’s best-selling smartphone fitness game, Zombies, Run!, have taught us that epic adventures with characters you love can make you go that extra mile.”

“Our collaboration with Marvel will deliver that same powerful motivation to millions more. Interactive storytelling is the 21st century’s dominant form of entertainment. We’re incredibly excited to help fans of the Marvel Universe achieve their fitness goals with their favourite characters – and turn them into heroes themselves.”

Marvel Move should release in the next few months, as part of the ZRX app, which itself will launch this summer. The app is set to feature similar games like Zombies, Run! and Venture, besides Marvel Move.
