The TCL P80 and TCL P80 Pro are available in only two colors

The TCL P80 Ultra is joined by the cheaper P80 and P80 Pro, which also have OLED displays. However, their more affordable price tags come with tradeoffs such as the lack of a telephoto camera and fewer OS upgrades.

Alongside the P80 Ultra, TCL also announced the P80 and the P80 Pro smartphones to complete the trio. These two models also feature OLED displays, but only the TCL P80 Pro has NxtPaper technology.

The TCL P80 has the same screen size as its siblings but lacks NxtPaper technology.

The TCL P80 also has a 6.83-inch display with a 2772 × 1280 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 3200 nits, and a 2560Hz touch response rate. As stated above, the P80 doesn’t have NxtPaper technology, so it misses out on the e-reader features of its siblings.

There’s a Dimensity 7300 Elite processor powering the phone alongside 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The TCL P80’s camera configuration consists of a dual setup on the rear that includes a 50MP f/1.88 sensor with OIS and EIS, alongside an 8MP ultrawide angle camera with autofocus. For the front-facing camera, buyers get a 32MP sensor. TCL says the phone comes with MuseFilm filters that users can apply to their photos.

The TCl P80 has a smaller 5,000mAh battery capacity with support for 45W charging.

Furthermore, the P80 has a smaller 5,000mAh battery capacity compared to the 5,800mAh capacity of its siblings. However, it still supports 45W fast wired charging. It is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, has stereo speakers with DTS surround sound, Wi-Fi 6, and eSIM support. It will receive 3 OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates.

The TCL P80 comes in Midnight Blue and Sunlit Gold and can be ordered on Amazon.de. It starts at €349 for the 128GB version and goes up to €379 for the 256GB version.

The TCL P80 Pro has the same specs as the P80 Ultra, save for a telephoto camera.

The TCL P80 Pro has mostly the same specifications as the P80 Ultra which we covered here. However, the main difference is that it lacks a telephoto rear camera. It is also available in two colors — Sunlit Gold and Midnight Blue — and will only receive 3 OS upgrades like the standard TCL P80, while security updates remains 7 years.

The TCL P80 Pro is priced at €429 for the 256GB version and €499 for the 512GB version. It is available to purchase now on Amazon.de.
