Popular Florida TikTok influencer and rising music artist Brii has died after she was shot in a drive-by attack on July 4, leaving fans and fellow creators in shock.

According to authorities, the fatal shooting happened at around 5:30am on Sunday, July 5, 2026, as Brii and two male companions were leaving a bnb house party in Florida.
The trio was reportedly inside a vehicle when a white BMW pulled up beside them, and multiple shots were fired into their car. Brii sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her two companions were rushed to the hospital, with one reported to be in stable condition while the other remains in critical condition.

Ring doorbell camera footage from a nearby home reportedly captured the moment the gunfire erupted, and law enforcement has launched an investigation into the shooting. As of now, no suspects have been publicly identified or arrested.
Following news of her death, thousands of fans flooded social media with tributes, remembering Brii for her viral content and her music career, including her song Bend Ova.

Content creator Woolady, who said she had spoken to Brii’s family, shared additional details about the incident.
According to her, Brii’s relatives called her at around 7am to inform her of the influencer’s death and permitted her to make the news public.
Woolady explained that Brii had attended a mansion party where everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves before leaving with family members.
She claimed the group later stopped at a gas station, where an altercation allegedly broke out involving two women who were not connected to Brii. According to Woolady, the disagreement escalated into a fight involving two men before those involved allegedly followed Brii’s vehicle.
Woolady further alleged that Brii was riding with her blood cousins, including one identified as AJ, and that the group had also given two women a ride.
“Bri died for no reason. Two girls start fighting; it went left, two n niggahs start fighting, and they followed them; they shot up the car. Bri and her cousins were in the car,” she stated.
She emphasised that Brii was not with strangers or a romantic partner at the time of the shooting, saying the influencer “died for no reason.”
“She wasn’t with any drinks, homeboys, or strangers; she wasn’t with a man she is in a romantic relationship with.AJ and the other boys are blood cousins in the vehicle with two of the girls, and they got followed from the gas station. They dropped one girl off, and then they shot up the car,” she stated.

In other news, a popular influencer and model, Natalia Villalba, was found dead inside a suitcase at a holiday rental apartment in Bogota, Colombia.
A cleaner allegedly discovered her body hidden in a suitcase that had been left in an open shower. A British national, Mathew Ashley Foster Smith, was arrested in connection with her death.
