The stage musical Mary will return to the Eko Hotels & Suites theatre this weekend for two performances as part of the venue’s July theatre programme.
The production, based on the biblical story of Mary, explores the experiences of the mother of Jesus by focusing on her personal struggles, faith and resilience.
Through music and drama, it presents the story from a human perspective.
One of the production’s notable creative features is its portrayal of Joseph through two contrasting characters, representing devotion and temptation, a dramatic approach designed to explore the emotional and psychological aspects of the story.
Mary will be performed on July 11 and 12 at 6 p.m. at Eko Hotels & Suites. It is one of four productions scheduled for the hotel’s July theatre season.
