It’s a new season. A clean slate. A time to wipe away all those fantasy mistakes you made a year ago… and make all new ones this year! Well, hopefully not.
Fantasy football is a great way to showcase your football expertise and GM your own team, but to do that, you have to be equipped with the right information. That’s exactly what we have for you today, as we’ll provide one fantasy nugget for every NFL team.
ARIZONA CARDINALS – Players selected third overall aren’t thrown into committee roles. Volume and dynamic ability are fantasy gold, and rookie RB Jeremiyah Love has both.
ATLANTA FALCONS – Tua Tagovailoa’s short passes created the volume to help Devin Achane go from good to great. TE Kyle Pitts will be the receiving beneficiary of those dump-offs.
BALTIMORE RAVENS – WR Zay Flowers quietly finished as the WR7 despite only catching five touchdown passes. There is no reason to not expect another top-10 finish.
BUFFALO BILLS – Nothing is finer than being the workhorse back on a run-heavy team that scores often, and that is what RB James Cook III is.
CAROLINA PANTHERS – The Panthers used a second-round draft pick on RB Jonathan Brooks. He’s finally healthy, and Carolina has a strong rushing attack.
CINCINNATI BENGALS – WR Tee Higgins continues to be the best-bargain receiver who possesses both a safe floor and high upside should JaMarr Chase miss time.
CLEVELAND BROWNS – Rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr. had the fifth-highest targets of his position, and there is no reason not to expect continued volume.
DALLAS COWBOYS – Over the last six years, Dak Prescott has alternated between a top fantasy quarterback and an injured quarterback. Last year, he finished as QB5. Grab’em if you love him, but make sure you have a Dak-up plan.
DENVER BRONCOS – WR Courtland Sutton is coming off of two-straight top-13 finishes and already has chemistry with Bo Nix. He’s the value pick while everyone else is chasing Jaylen Waddle.
DETROIT LIONS – QB Jared Goff is the best-kept fantasy secret. He’s efficient, plays most of his games in a dome, has weapons galore, and a defense just bad enough to sustain scoring-friendly game scripts. He has three straight top-10 finishes.
GREEN BAY PACKERS – WR Christian Watson has never finished inside the top 25 for WRs, and his target competition is Jayden Reed, Mathew Golden, and Tyler Kraft. Avoid the hype.
HOUSTON TEXAS – Only three WRs have finished in the top 10 in points per game in each of the last three seasons – Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Nico Collins.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS – K Spencer Shrader is the new Brandon Aubrey. Use your last pick on him.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS – QB Trevor Lawrence has a plethora of weapons and a great offensive coordinator. Expect another strong fantasy season from him.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS – Expectations are big for Kenneth Walker as he walks into an ideal situation, but Andy Reid spreads the ball around. Only once over the last decade (2017, Kareem Hunt) have the Chiefs had a RB finish in the top 10.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS – WR Ladd McConkey finished as WR12 his rookie year, but then what happened? Keenan Allen happened, but he’s really gone this time. Expect a return to stardom for this young Ladd.
LOS ANGELES RAMS – Even with a 65/35 timeshare, Kyren Williams is a fantasy gem. He has three-straight top-10 finishes despite Blake Corum already being there to “steal” his volume. He’s the cheapest RB2 you’ll find in the draft.
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS – QB Fernando Mendoza will be all the craze in Vegas at some point this year. If your roster space allows, stash this playmaking quarterback.
MIAMI DOLPHINS – The Dolphins offense has been abysmal the last two seasons, and it is astounding that De’Vone Achane has finished as a top-6 RB in each of them. But he has. His volume and elusiveness won’t change. Pounce if he slides.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS – Remember when Justin Jefferson was a consensus top-3 WR? Well, that time is now as long as J.J. McCarthy is not in charge of throwing him the ball.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS – WR A.J. Brown has never had a quarterback this good. Huge season loading…
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS – There are so many good eats on Kellen Moore’s offense, but TE Juwan Johnson finished third in receiving yards for tight ends. He only had three touchdowns, but still finished in the top 10 for TEs. Had he caught three more touchdowns, he would have finished as TE3 for the year. Sleeper potential.
NEW YORK GIANTS – QB Jaxson Dart has top-5 upside, but also could come with weekly high variance. If you roll the dice on him, package him with a stable QB you can find at a low cost (see Detroit Lions).
NEW YORK JETS – WR Garrett Wilson is the most blah fantasy receiver out there. His upside is capped by a bad Jets offense, but his volume is continuous. The Geno upgrade should help him retain a WR2 finish.
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES – Regression to the mean bodes well for RB Saquon Barkley, but wear and tear is a real thing. If you must venture down that aisle, handcuff him to Tank Bigsby, who enters RB1 territory should Barkley go down.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS – QB Aaron Rodgers’ arm is spaghetti, so expect a lot of dump-off passes to running backs. This is good news for sneaky receiving RB Jaylen Warren.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS – Rookie RB Jadarian Price walks into a great opportunity after the departure of Walker and the often-injured Zach Charbonett
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS – RB Christian McCaffrey has finished as the best fantasy running back twice over the last three years. If you can stomach the risk, he delivers big rewards.
TAMPA BAY BUCANNEERS – Don’t let recency bias make you sleep on RB Bucky Irving. He’s healthy now, and his volume, shiftiness, and usage as a receiver make him a valuable commodity.
TENNESSEE TITANS – I love rookie first-round receivers from Ohio State, and you should too, but the WanDale Robinson fella might be one of fantasy’s best-kept secrets. He’s not a league winner, but an effective depth guy that you can snag at the end of your draft.
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS – QB Jayden Daniels was a fantasy gem when he could run and he could stay healthy. Now, it feels like you can only have one or the other. Buyer beware.
