Spin-off Manga ‘Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaiou wa Isekai Tensei shitemo Ikkou ni Kamawan!’ Gets Anime Adaptation

An anime adaptation of Daisuke Ihara and Eiji Mutsui‘s Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaiou wa Isekai Tensei shitemo Ikkou ni Kamawan! spin-off manga was announced on Monday, revealing the announcement promotional video. Animation studio TMS Entertainment is producing the anime.

Ihara and Mutsui began serializing the spin-off manga in Monthly Shounen Champion magazine in November 2020. Akita Shoten published the 16th volume on March 6.

TMS Entertainment adapted the Hanma Baki sequel manga, Baki-dou, for Netflix. The first part premiered on February 26, followed by the second part on June 18.

Synopsis
After the events of Baki-dou, the famous kenpo master Kaiou Retsu wakes up in a new world unknown to him. (Source: MU)
