Nigeria vs South Africa: 3 questions Super Falcons must answer to keep World Cup dream alive

The 10-time African champions saw their WAFCON title defence come to a disappointing end against Cameroon, and they now have little room for error against a South African side that knows exactly how to hurt them.

Nigeria were not necessarily poor against the Indomitable Lionesses. They dominated large spells of the game, created opportunities and registered 19 shots, nine of which were on target.

But football is ultimately decided by what happens in the decisive moments, and the Super Falcons failed to make theirs count.

If Nigeria dominate possession again but fail to turn that dominance into clear-cut chances and goals, they could find themselves in serious trouble.
