Ezra Collective have re-issued their debut EP ‘Chapter 7’ for its 10th anniversary.
The UK jazz group emerged from community-oriented organisations such as Tomorrow’s Warriors, blending incredible technical chops with a desire to absorb other non-traditional influences.
Since then, their joyous live show has taken Ezra Collective to incredible highs. Winning the Mercury Music Prize – the first jazz group to do so – the band then headlined London’s Royal Albert Hall, and subsequently OVO Wembley Arena.
Winning the Outstanding Contribution To British Jazz at the Jazz FM awards last night, Ezra Collective have now re-issued their debut EP.
Remarkably, it’s 10 years since ‘Chapter 7’ was first given a limited vinyl release, and it’s been spruced up for its birthday.
Out now digitally and via D2C vinyl, a wider vinyl release will hit retailers from June 5th.
Alongside this, Ezra Collective have shared a very special live video of ‘I Have A God’ – Zara McFarlane is on vocals, and it’s taken from their landmark Royal Albert Hall show.

Ezra Collective will play a special intimate fan show at London’s Colour Factory on April 18th.
