London, UK (7 May, 2026) Football fans will get to eat their way through the World Cup Finals this summer with the launch of the World Football Food cookbook – a unique guide to the flavours of the tournament, with 288 recipes from the 48 competing nations.

The book, which is available on Amazon, combines tasty recipes with top-level tournament insight, giving fans a tasty way to celebrate with friends and family during the world’s biggest football competition, which kicks off in the USA, Mexico and Canada in June.

Developed by sports journalist and home cooking fan Will Gray, it offers six recipes for every country – three snacks, one main and two sides – with easy-to-follow instructions and widely available traditional ingredients or alternatives.

Author and editor Will Gray said: “I’ve been cooking dishes from competing nations in the World Cup and Euros tournaments for years with my friends and family. It’s great fun, and it really adds to the experience – so I developed this book to help more people do it.

“It’s great to enjoy different dishes from each side – so, when England kick off their tournament against Croatia on June 17, you could be tucking into England’s bite-sized pulled-beef Yorkshires and Croatia’s cheese and herb flaky pastry Sirnica Triangles.

“Nobody wants to spend hours in the kitchen on a matchday, though, so the recipes have been developed to be as simple as possible, with suggestions to make them quicker – so you can go fully authentic if you have time, or choose faster options if kick-off is close.”

Combining insight with invention

The hugely varied tastes from the 48 nations include sharing snacks made for parties and flavoursome mains and sides that are perfect for the dinner table, with dishes that can be paired together for a fusion of flavours between competing teams.

The step-by-step cooking guides make it easy for anyone to recreate the national dishes as authentically as possible – and when the tournament over, the book can continue to be used to liven up lunches and dinners with the tastes from around the world.

It also contains facts to educate casual football fans about the World Cup and its teams, enriching the experience with tournament information, team-by-team guides, star player highlights and a full tournament schedule to plan your menues.

The author adds: “Fans can use the book to create snacks and treats for themed World Cup parties, sit-down meals to enjoy while watching the matches or simply learn more about the international cuisine from the competing nations.”

The book is available now on Amazon for Kindle or as a paperback print book that can be delivered overnight on Prime. It promises to be the ultimate companion for fans who want to taste the World Cup like never before.
