The movie awards season is about to hit its peak with the announcement of the Oscar nominations on Thursday morning.
If the Golden Globes winners are an indication of who might hear their names called this week, films like One Battle After Another and Hamnet have much promise. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which earned two Golden Globe wins, has also proven a strong contender all season. Also likely to be in the mix is A24’s Marty Supreme, starring Timothée Chalamet.
Voting for the 98th Academy Awards ended January 16 with various campaigns still going strong.
