Bitesize Prediction: Huddersfield Town vs Luton Town – 27/01/26

Soccer

Competition: League One

Market: Huddersfield Town win

Odds: 11/10 @ 1xBet

Two camps who find themselves scrapping it out in the play-off chase, Huddersfield will welcome Luton to Yorkshire on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, making an immediate return to winning ways over the weekend as they secured a rugged 1-0 victory at home against Bradford, Huddersfield will now be desperate to find some much-welcomed stability. Recording a first League One victory since opening the New Year on Saturday, the Terriers are still sat in the play-off places and they will be looking to widen their buffer over the chasing pack here. Extending on their EFL Trophy adventure earlier in the month as they secured a routine 3-0 win against Rotherham, new boss Liam Manning will be looking to make a real statement here. It should also be highlighted, Huddersfield have gained a reputation for their extended success at the Accu Stadium. Including a remarkable 5-0 romp against Port Vale on Boxing Day, Tuesday’s hosts are unbeaten in all of their previous nine consecutive showdowns in front of their own supporters – a run that stems all the way back to October 16th.

As for the visitors, while Jack Wilshere might have only arrived at Kenilowrth Road back in October, Luton have struggled to find any kind of stability under the former Arsenal midfielder. Opening Tuesday’s trip to Yorkshire sat three points adrift of finding a route into the play-off places, the Hatters should be set for another tricky test in midweek. Last seen over the weekend falling to a 1-0 loss away at a resurgent Plymouth, Luton have recorded just a single win from any of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Watching their respective EFL Trophy adventure come to an end on January 13th as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat at home against Swindon, Wilshere’s side have also shown some real cause for concern on the road. Getting the New Year underway with another 1-0 loss at the hands of Exeter, Luton have gained a reputation for their glaring issues on the road. In fact, the Hatters have failed to win any of their last six straight matchups outside of Berkshire (five defeats, one draw).

Bet: Huddersfield Town 11/10 to beat Luton Town in Tuesday’s League One showdown @ 1xBet
