That’s Shanghai Sports Awards are Back – Nominate Now!

Shanghai sports friends, after a brief hiatus we are back celebrating YOU!

Better still, we have a brand new partner and host for the event, Guinness Social, where the 10th Annual That’s Shanghai Sports Awards will take place on the evening of Friday, January 23

We’ll gather there to recognize those who have truly made their mark on the city’s amateur sports scene, from the home-run hitters and KO punchers, to those who lift up their mates when all seems lost.

They’re our friends, our family, andoccasionallyour blood-thirsty rivals.

There are six categories in the general selection:

  • Sports Personality of the Year

  • Team of the Year

  • Coach of the Year

  • Best Newcomer

  • Best International Performance

  • Lifetime Achievement Award

And a further few fun ones:

  • Funniest Team Photo

  • Photoshop Skills of the Year

  • Novelty Kit of the Year

  • Worst Performance / International Performance

Oh, and these fun ones are ‘open nomination,’ so feel free to make up a new category.

What we’re saying is—bring on the banter!
