Friday Night Football: Chiefs vs. Chargers in Brazil

Football

The Philadelphia Eagles already secured their Week 1 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night, and the NFL’s opening weekend continues with a Friday night matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil.

This will be the league’s second game ever in the South American country, with the Eagles beating the Packers in the first iteration back in 2024. Friday night’s game, however, will feature AFC West division opponents competing for a leg up early in the season.

The Eagles face the Chiefs for a Super Bowl rematch in Week 2 and both teams will have a few extra days to prepare — although the Chiefs will have much longer travel to bounce back from.

Here’s everything you need to know about today’s game.
