Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Launches 150 ‘Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics’

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the “Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic” program, aiming to upgrade 150 health centers across the province into modern clinics.

These clinics will be equipped with advanced facilities similar to top private hospitals and feature state-of-the-art technology. Patients will be managed through a digital system to ensure efficient and quality care.

At the launch event, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz handed out appointment letters to doctors and interacted warmly with them. Provincial Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir praised her leadership and referred to her as a “Super CM” for her dedication to improving healthcare in Punjab.

This initiative is set to enhance both the quality and accessibility of healthcare services across the province.

In a related development, MRI services have been introduced in district hospitals as part of a public-private partnership. Agreements have been signed to launch MRI scanning services in Sheikhupura and Bahawalnagar at a cost of Rs. 399.2 million. These efforts aim to provide better diagnostic facilities to the people of Punjab.

Together, these steps highlight the government’s commitment to improving the healthcare system and ensuring that advanced medical services are available to all.

By modernizing health centers and introducing new diagnostic technologies, the initiative aims to make high-quality healthcare more accessible and affordable for everyone in Punjab.
