To unlock the Soda Machine, you’ll need to complete a series of quests. The machine is situated near Gemstone Town, underneath a water tower, and will be marked on your map once unlocked.

To access the Soda Machine, follow these steps:

  • Reach friendship level four with Pompompurin to unlock and complete the “Dessert-ed Boat” quest.
  • Reach friendship level two with Keroppi to unlock and complete the “Open the Nature Preserve” quest.
  • Reach friendship level three with My Melody to unlock and complete the “Meet the Island Beings” quest.
  • Talk to Keroppi at the Oasis and accept his request to make him a soda. Then, visit Pekkle, who is standing next to the soda machine.
  • Pekkle will explain the machine, and you’ll need to craft a Swampy Soda using simple ingredients.
  • Give the Swampy Soda to Keroppi to complete the “Parched” quest and unlock the Soda Machine.

Once you reach friendship level six with Pekkle, the Soda Machine will upgrade and allow you to craft sodas with two more ingredients. To speed up the process, consider gifting Pekkle:

  • Friendship Bouquets and Friendship Blossoms to reset the gift-giving count.
  • Calming crystals found in the northern cave (a simple gift).
  • Stacked Stones recipe crafted using three crystals (a two-heart gift).

To build soda machines for visitor cabins, you’ll need to reach friendship level 12 with Pekkle, who will give you the crafting plan for a usable Soda Machine. This recipe requires 10 Ingots, 100 Fizzy Crystals, and 5 Sparks.

Get ready to fizz up your island life with all the soda recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure! We’ve excluded the limited-time “50th Anniversary Soda” recipe, as it requires special materials and isn’t part of the regular collections page.

To start crafting sodas, you’ll need to use the Soda Machine and combine a Fizzy Crystal with at least one other specified item. For example, mixing a Banana with a Fizzy Crystal creates a refreshing Banana Soda.

To make Fizzy Crystals, you’ll need Fizzy Ore, which you can obtain by completing the “Dessert-ed Boat” quest. This quest unlocks after reaching friendship level four with Pompompurin.
