Watch: Galatasaray treat Victor Osimhen to cute welcome after Christmas holiday

Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray treated Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to a cute welcome upon his return to the club on Tuesday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been impressive for Galatasaray since his season-long loan transfer from Napoli last summer. And since his move, he has become the poster boy for the club.

He has contributed 12 goals and five assists in 15 appearances for the Lions this season. His brilliance has helped them create an eight-point gap between themselves and Fenerbahce at the summit of the Super Lig table.

The Super Lig went on a one-week break for the Christmas holidays. During that break, Osimhen was quite busy, as he returned to his roots in Olusosun to give back to his community.

Also, he celebrated his 26th birthday on Sunday, December 29. Upon his return to Galatasaray on Tuesday, Osimhen was treated to a warm welcome.

Galatasaray resume Super Lig action on January 3. They take on January 4 with a game against Goztepe. Osimhen has been linked with an exit, amid interest from Arsenal and Manchester United. But it seems, the former Lille man will stay at Galatasaray until the end of the season at least.

Osimhen will be looking to continue scoring goals for the Lions and help them secure their fourth consecutive Super Lig trophy.
