Jay-Z denies raping teen girl

Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, has been accused of assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000, according to an amended lawsuit.

The victim, identified as “Jane Doe,” alleges the assault occurred with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was named in the original lawsuit filed in October 2024.

The complaint accuses Jay-Z of participating in the assault and claims he was present during other similar incidents involving Combs.

It also alleges that Jay-Z orchestrated efforts to intimidate the plaintiff and her legal team to prevent his involvement from being disclosed.

Jay-Z has denied the allegations, calling them part of a blackmail scheme and stating he would fight them publicly.

He expressed heartbreak over the effect the claims have on his family while maintaining his innocence.

Diddy, who is also facing federal sex trafficking charges, has denied the allegations against him and remains in custody awaiting trial.
