“Will You Do a Dance With Me?” – David Beckham’s Son Romeo Utilized Mom Victoria Beckham’s ‘Spice Girl’ Fame to Bag More Social Media Followers Back in 2019

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been among some of the most influential couples for over two decades. The legend married the Spice Girls member back in 1999. The star couple has four children and now it’s their time to enjoy fame just like their parents.

Being the eldest, Brooklyn Beckham has already made a fan following after multiple appearances on TV talk shows. The eldest Beckham kid married the love of life, Hollywood star Nicola Peltz, in April last year. He also talked about being a part of ‘the throuple’ along with pop star icon Selena Gomez and his wife.

After Brooklyn, it’s now Romeo Beckham’s turn to start making a fan following. The 20-year-old soccer amateur started working on his fanbase back in 2019. Along with 3.6 million Instagram followers, Romeo enjoys a significant fan following on TikTok. His mom, Victoria Beckham, has played a significant role in the latter.

Victoria Beckham ‘used’ for TikTok fame

Victoria Beckham back in 2019, attended the Ellen Show as a guest. Among many things she talked about with Ellen DeGeneres, was how her son kick-started his TikTok account with a clip with the Spice Girls member.

Talking about Romeo Beckham, she said, “He came home the other day, and he said, you know mom, I’ve just joined TikTok, will you do a dance with me, and I was like yeah, what should we dance to? He said, the Spice Girls, and then he took my phone and posted it on my Instagram and he said, that will get my numbers up.”

Taking his well-earned fame to the next level, Romeo Beckham signed a deal with Puma. He now plays wearing the Puma shoes. Romeo revealed how Neymar Jr. texted him after he saw the starlet wearing Puma. Aspiring to be like his father David Beckham one day, the youngster has gone on to be an ambassador of his rival brand.

Back in January, David Beckham took the young soccer player to a Premier League match. It seemed they both were cheering for different teams as the soccer phenom got mocked by his son. The match, Manchester United vs Arsenal, was equal until the very last minute when Arsenal scored and took the match. Trolling his father for his former team’s defeat, Romeo wrote on Instagram, “Sleep tight dad” featuring a very disappointed David Beckham.
