In a Reddit post, it was detailed that the average number of Fortnite viewers on Twitch before the ban was around 59,000. Following the ban on April 24, this count has dropped to 42,600. This goes on to show how much influence Clix had over the game, with a significant 28% drop in viewers.

While some critics have come out and said the data is being manipulated in favor of Clix, they are stating the loss in viewership is not exactly due to the ban, but it may be a contributing factor. They believed the loss in viewership is due to competitive tournament schedules, with FNCS Major Qualifier 2 just ending on April 23.
