Huawei’s Enjoy series of smartphones is now believed to get a new member that will bring multiple 50MP rear cameras to its mid-range market segment. The 60X is also tipped to benefit from a high-end design re-vamp that leaves it looking more like the OEM’s new top-end foldable flagship. It may also run HarmonyOS 3 out of the box and come with an old-school notch in its FHD+ display.

Huawei unveiled the Enjoy 60 alongside the P60 series and Mate X3 in March 2023. Now, it is said to be joined by a new X variant, which drops the camera hump that mimics that of the former devices for those that aims for the Star Ring quality of the latter.

According to its new, allegedly hands-on, SlashLeaks post, the Enjoy 60X will also upgrade to “50MP dual rear cameras“, although there are 3 lenses in its new circular hump. The “60X” is also depicted as an 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage device with HarmonyOS 3.0.0.101 and a battery of no less than 7,000mAh in capacity out of the box.

The smartphone to be equipped with it is also projected to charge no faster than 22.5W, however. Nevertheless, should Huawei truly unleash the next Enjoy-series device with these specs, it might represent a welcome trend towards its potential advantages in more next-gen affordable-class smartphones. Accordingly, it is a potential shame it would be unlikely to have widespread availability in any case.
