Entertainment Aloy returns to the battlefield

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerilla Games have opened pre-orders on Burning Shores, the incoming DLC expansion for the gorgeous adventure title Horizon Forbidden West — And to help entice folks to get on board, the developer has revealed an attractive skin for all pre-order customers.

Anyone who pre-orders Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores on PS5 will receive an exclusive Blacktide Dye Outfit and a matching Blacktide Dye Bow. Very snazzy. The items can be unlocked in-game once Aloy visits the first Dye Merchant in the new expansion. You can check out the gear in the trailer below, which also offers up a brand new look at Burning Shores’ suspiciously familiar world.

Picking up from the finale of Forbidden West, Burning Shores will follow the intrepid Aloy as she ventures forth into a brand new region, located south of the Tenakth Clan Lands. There, our young hero will explore new locales, meet new allies and enemies, and confront a new variety of the mechanical monstrosities known as The Machines. Fans can expect the same sense of wonder and awe that has become Horizon‘s identity.

Horizon Forbidden West is available now on PlayStation platforms and the Burning Shores DLC will launch on PS5 only on April 19.
