Iran-US-Israel War highlights: Iran US Israel war escalates as Iran claims downing US jets, launches strikes on Israel, and mediation efforts stall, raising fears of wider regional conflict.

Iran-US-Israel War highlights: The Iran, Israel and the United States war continues to intensify, with fresh military claims and retaliatory strikes reported across the region. Iran’s military has said that it shot down two US warplanes. One aircraft was reportedly brought down in the province of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, while another crashed in the Gulf. Iranian authorities said two members of the US crew were rescued, while at least one person remains missing.

Celebrations erupted in Tehran after Iranian officials stated the incident demonstrated the country’s continued military capability against the United States and Israel, as per Al Jazeera.

US President Donald Trump has been briefed about reports of a US F-15 jet being downed in Iran. Trump warned Tehran, saying, “It is time for Iran to make a deal before it is too late, and there is nothing left of what still could become a great country.”

In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran remains “resolute in defending itself against American and Israeli aggressors using all of its capacities.”

Iranian retaliatory strikes on Israel also triggered a fire at an industrial facility in southern Negev and caused damage to buildings in Rosh Haayin and Petah Tikvah.

Meanwhile, Israel reportedly destroyed two strategic bridges over the Litani River in Lebanon, expanding its military presence in southern parts of the country.

Efforts to mediate the conflict have also faltered. Pakistan-led talks between Washington and Tehran have reached a dead end after Iran reportedly refused to meet US officials in Islamabad. However, mediators including Turkey and Egypt are exploring alternative venues such as Doha or Istanbul to revive negotiations.
