‘Wareware wa Uchuujin’ Reveals Main Cast, Additional Staff, Teaser Trailer

The official X (formally Twitter) of the Wareware wa Uchuujin (We Are Aliens) revealed the main cast, additional staff, teaser visual (pictured right) and teaser trailer on Tuesday. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters in 2026.

Tsubasa: Ryota Bando (Fureru.)
Kyotaro: Amane Okayama (Blue Giant)
Tsubasa (child): Yuuto Maki
Kyotaro (child): Tasuku Nakagome

Yaffle (Entotsu Machi no Poupelle) is composing the music.

Kouhei Kadowaki (Beastars 2nd Season episode director) is directing and handling the screenplay for the movie at Nothing New.

The studio opened a crowdfunding campaign on Motion Gallery in November 2025, aiming to raise 8 million yen. The project has since surpassed its goal, with current funding exceeding 9 million yen.
