Lisuan Extreme LX 7G106 “Founder’s Edition” gaming card

Equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, the Extreme LX 7G106 gaming GPU from Lisuan is said to offer playable framerates in Cyberpunk 2077, Black Myth: Wukong and Resident Evil 4 Remake, although the Chinese GPU maker has not provided actual metrics or some meaningful comparison with cards from Nvidia or AMD.

Lisuan Technology is a Chinese company that was founded just 5 years ago in Shanghai by three former employees from the pioneering S3 Graphics GPU maker popular in the 1990s. With heavy investments from Chinese private and state companies, Lisuan Tech started developing GPUs that could provide alternative solutions to Nvidia and AMD for the Chinese market. Its latest G100 GPU generation has recently been launched for China and the lineup includes a gaming model, as well as a few workstation and server models.

The gaming model is dubbed Extreme LX 7G106 and is expected to see availability by June 18 this year (pre-orders start March 17th) as per the latest AWE 2026 announcement. It will be available for orders on JD.com at first, yet Lisuan intends to sell its models globally at some point.

Technical details are somewhat generic at the moment, but this consumer-oriented gaming solution built on 6 nm nodes comes with 12 GB GDDR6 and 192-bit memory bus plus 192 TMUs, 96 ROPs and a maximum TGP of 225 W, so it is most likely a mid-range GPU at best. The card takes up three slots with a cooling system that features three fans. Port-wise, the card does not feature any HDMI connectors, but only 4x DP1.4a.

Lisuan claims that the GPU is able to run modern demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, Black Myth: Wukong and Resident Evil 4 Remake along with other popular Steam titles like Baldur’s Gate 3 and the Horizon series. Unfortunately, the company has not yet provided some direct comparisons with Nvidia’s or AMD’s solutions. This compatibility is ensured by support for modern APIs like DX12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 3.0.

For the workstation and server markets demanding AI hardware, Lisuan is also preparing dedicated solutions like the LX Ultra and LX PRO cards with 24 GB VRAM and the LX MAX with 12 GB VRAM.

All these new LX cards feature a wide CPU compatibility including models from Intel, AMD, Hygon, Loongson, Phytium and Zhaoxin, while OS support is offered for Windows and Linux-based systems such as UOS, Ubuntu and Kylinsoft.
