David Marshall Grant Signs With Innovative Artists

EXCLUSIVE: David Marshall Grant, who was previously showrunner of ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, has new representation.

Grant has signed with Innovative Artists Entertainment.

On the TV side, Grant has exec produced series including NBC’s Smash, CBS’ Code Black, ABC’s A Million Little Things and HBO’s Looking.

On the film side, he has written the screenplays for Paramount’s upcoming films One Mile and One More Mile, starring and produced by Ryan Phillippe, and the screenplay for Michael Showalter-directed Spoiler Alert. His latest screenplay Things I Wish I Told to My Mother is being written for Cathy Konrad, James Patterson and Constantin Film.

He has also starred on screen, as well as on Broadway, most notably in Angels in America, for which he was nominated for a Tony. Grant was previously with CAA.

It comes after the company received investment from private equity firm Coral Tree Partners in May. The company’s literary department has added the likes of Martin To, Martin Spencer, Andy Patman, Margaret Mendelson and Ian Greenstein over the last 12 months.
