The former Lillestrom forward is set to join Sevilla on a potential four-year deal worth around €5.5 million.

This move makes Adams the third Nigerian at the club, joining Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke, who both signed during the 2024 summer transfer window.

Adams is expected to bolster Sevilla’s attacking options, bringing his proven goal-scoring prowess to address their struggles in front of goal.

He netted double-digit goals in his debut season at Montpellier and tallied an impressive 28 goals in 50 appearances for Lillestrom.

However, his arrival could spell trouble for Iheanacho, who has struggled for form at Sevilla. With Isaac Romero and now Akor Adams vying for the top attacking spots, Iheanacho may face further competition and risk falling down the pecking order.
