Caitlin Clark has been pivotal to the massive rise in popularity of women\u2019s basketball over the last few years. The Indiana Fever superstar has received special praise for her impact from FIBA\u2019s Secretary General Andreas Zagklis.<\/p>\n
Ahead of the 2026 FIBA World Cup final between Team USA and France, Zagklis reserved special praise for Clark and hailed the impact she has had on women\u2019s basketball.<\/p>\n
Hailing Clark as one of the sporting superstars of the current generation, Zagklis predicted that the 24-year-old and her fellow women\u2019s basketball players could be more popular than their male counterparts at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think what these players, Caitlin, one of them, have done in increasing the popularity of the women\u2019s game is incredible.
