It taps into a more expansive palette of sounds and textures, including bossa nova, reggae, dance-pop, classical and acoustic influences while honouring the group\u2019s synergy. <\/p>\n<p><strong>JOY<\/strong>, who has continued to grow as a songwriter through her solo work, served as the sole lyricist for both \u2018Surfin\u2019 Boy\u2019 and \u2018Hawaii\u2019, bringing a more personal touch to the mini-album.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Over a decade in the game, Red Velvet have emerged as one of K-pop\u2019s defining acts with hits like \u2018Bad Boy\u2019, \u2018Ice Cream Cake\u2019, \u2018Russian Roulette\u2019, \u2018Red Flavor\u2019 and \u2018Psycho\u2019.
