\u201cWe\u2019ve got Rebel News<\/em> here, I\u2019m happy with them,\u201d Pauline Hanson replied when questioned about her banning of the ABC, The Guardian<\/em> and The Age<\/em> from a press conference<\/a> where she announced One Nation\u2019s Victorian state election candidates. Rebel News<\/em> is a far-right Canadian online outlet whose Australian subsidiary is run by commentator Avi Yemini<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t you need your message to get out to regional Victoria in particular, and [don\u2019t] you need The ABC, the national broadcaster, to be able to carry it?\u201d she had been asked by a reporter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
