TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:<\/strong>\u00a0Signing<\/em><\/p>\n Sporting Kansas City<\/a> have acquired winger Andr\u00e9 Luiz from Greek Super League powerhouse Olympiacos, the club announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n The 24-year-old Brazilian arrives for a club-record fee worth a reported $18 million plus add-ons.<\/p>\n Luiz has signed a five-year contract through the 2030-31 MLS season. He will occupy Designated Player and international roster slots.\u00a0<\/p>\n “We are extremely excited to welcome Andr\u00e9 to Sporting Kansas City,” said David Lee, the club’s president of soccer operations & general manager.<\/p>\n “Andr\u00e9 is a dynamic player with pace, directness and technical ability who is coming off an excellent season in Portugal and Greece.
