Guglielmo Vicario says he has fulfilled a “lifelong dream”\u00a0after joining Juventus on a season-long loan from Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Vicario will join Luciano Spalletti’s side for the 2026-27 campaign, with Juventus having an \u20ac8m buy option at the end of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Juve have spent this transfer window searching for a new goalkeeper, with Emiliano Martinez and Zion Suzuki linked with the club before they turned their attention to Vicario.<\/p>\n

The Italian had hernia surgery back in March and had not featured for Spurs under Roberto De Zerbi, falling out of favour with Antonin Kinsky preferred.<\/p>\n

“It’s truly a great feeling, because it’s a lifelong dream,” he said, as quoted by Alfredo Pedulla.<\/p>\n

“I’ve dreamed and hoped for this moment since I was a child. Obviously, you never know for sure that you’ll be able to achieve it, so I’m incredibly proud of myself, and of my family, for having achieved it.<\/p>\n

Vicario made 117 appearances for Spurs after joining from Empoli in June 2023, keeping 23 clean sheets in that time.<\/p>\n

He also played a key role in helping Spurs to the Europa League title in 2024-25, starting nine of their 15 matches en route to lifting the trophy.<\/p>\n

Vicario, who has five caps for Italy, previously made 73 appearances in Serie A across his spells with Cagliari and Empoli.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old could make his debut for Juventus this weekend when they open their Serie A campaign against Frosinone on Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
