In loving memory of Marie Alberta Ebel (nee Hembruff), of McKerrow.<\/p>\n

Marie passed away peacefully at the age of 85 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on July 16, 2026, with family by her side.<\/p>\n

Predeceased by her parents, the late Robert and Margaret Hembruff (nee Jewell), loving husband George Ebel (2009) and her cherished daughter Shelley (2023).<\/p>\n

Marie is survived by her loving family: partner Rheal Potvin, her children Dwight Ebel (Norine) of Kemptville, Heidi Lafantaisie (John) of Lively, and son-in-law Gary Cooper of Manitowaning (late Shelley).<\/p>\n

Loving grandmother of Craig, Zach, Kyla, Lisa, Caleb, Alyssa, Kaylee, Brady and Riley.<\/p>\n

Great-grandmother of Erica, Kallie, Jack, Noah, Zander, Emma, Jack.<\/p>\n

Dear sister of Eric, Lawrence, Clive, Joe, Nelda, all predeceased.<\/p>\n

Will also be missed by many friends and relatives.<\/p>\n

A memorial service took place on July 25th, and Marie has been laid to rest in the Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning.<\/p>\n

Donations, should you wish, can be made to the United Church of Espanola, the Canadian Cancer Society, and\/or the Diabetes Association.<\/p>\n
