Rhapsodising about younger bands, Hayley explained that she caught The Linda Lindas during their firs visit to Nashville, her home city.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on new single \u2018Closer\u2019, Hayley adds something totally different to the mix, a song that interpolates Paramore\u2019s prolific alt DNA from a fresh angle.<\/p>\n<p>Steered by <strong>Bela Salazar<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Lucia de la Garza<\/strong> before taking it to the full band, Hayley then stepped in to write the bridge \u2013 before they all went to\u00a0<strong>Halloween Horror Nights<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0<strong>Universal Studios\u00a0<\/strong>together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bela\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0Lucia<\/strong>\u00a0comment\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c\u2018Closer\u2019 is about feeling like you\u2019re losing control of time, and watching yourself grow older from afar. Lately, we\u2019ve been realising how important it is to stay present, especially when our lives feel constantly in motion. It feels perfect that Hayley Williams was down to collaborate on this song with us, because we\u2019ve been fans of her throughout so many of her different eras \u2013 and she\u2019s seen us grow up over\u00a0the\u00a0last ten years!
