Online gaming and betting leader Flutter Entertainment <\/strong>has announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer. As Peter Jackson <\/strong>prepares to step down from the role next month, Dan Taylor <\/strong>has been named as his successor.<\/p>\n According to the announcement, Jackson will step down from the CEO role on September 30, 2026<\/strong>. On the following day, Taylor will officially assume the position of group chief executive officer.<\/p>\n Flutter noted that Jackson will also leave the company\u2019s board of directors, but will continue to serve as an advisor to the business through the end of the year to ensure a seamless transition. In the meantime, Taylor will join the board as a new member.<\/p>\n Flutter noted that the appointee is currently serving as CEO of Flutter\u2019s International division. The segment generated over $9 billion in revenue and more than $2.2 billion in adjusted EBITDA in 2025, which serves as a testament to Taylor\u2019s leadership skills. Dan has also served as president of Flutter since May 2026, and has been instrumental in the company\u2019s sportsbook improvement plan and commercial endeavors.<\/p>\n This leadership change makes Flutter the latest company in the gaming space to introduce major C-suite changes. A few days ago, Continent 8<\/a> and Scientific Games<\/a> also announced changes at the CEO level.<\/p>\n John Bryant<\/strong>, Flutter\u2019s board chair, commented on the matter, saying that the board is pleased to welcome Taylor as Flutter\u2019s new group CEO.
