Joined by 5D, the legendary rapper has been previewing new material, alongside aspects of his storied past.<\/p>\n<p>New album \u2018Thank You\u2019 is credited to <strong>Mike D 5D<\/strong>, and it will be released through Capitol Records on August 28th<\/p>\n<p>Mixed by <strong>Derek \u201cMixedByAli\u201d Ali<\/strong>, mastered by <strong>Nicolas de Porcel<\/strong>, the album represents the first full length offering of new music from a Beastie Boys alum since <strong><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clashmusic.com\/reviews\/beastie-boys-hot-sauce-committee-part-two\/\">2011\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Hot Sauce Committee Part 2\u2019.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span><a href=\"https:\/\/MikeD.lnk.to\/THANKYOU\">Available to pre-order now<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, Mike D says of the album:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been so much fun making this music with people I love and I have grown to really appreciate in our collaboration.
