The Pittsburgh Steelers\u2019 dynasty run is remembered for the Lombardi trophies brought home in 1974, 1975, 1978, and 1979. The first four championships in franchise history that turned the team from decades-long lovable losers into one of football\u2019s greatest powerhouses. Talk to the media, and they\u2019ll cite those squads as being the best. Talk to the players, and they\u2019ll tell you the best group was one that ended the year in disappointment, not glory.<\/p>\n
WTAE\u2019s Andrew Stockey spoke with RB Rocky Bleier and CB Mel Blount to get their take on the greatest group of them all \u2013 1976.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were fortunate to play on a lot of great teams in the 70s.
