music mogul <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/05\/29\/clive-davis-hospitalized\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told TMZ<\/a> he was suffering from \u201can upper respiratory infection and out of an abundance of caution, he was admitted to the hospital.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>They also said Davis, who molded the careers of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Kelly Clarkson and more, is expected didn\u2019t immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>The 94-year-old record producer\u2019s hospital stay comes just days after he was seen attending the Gordon Parks Foundation Awards Dinner and Auction in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Davis, who founded Bad Boy Records with Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs many years ago, has battled health issues in the past.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, he was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/02\/23\/clive-davis-diagnosed-with-bells-palsy-postpones-grammys-bash\/\">diagnosed with Bell\u2019s Palsy<\/a>, and postponed the second antibiotics and steroids and is expected to recover within six to eight weeks.
