But it\u2019s going to be far from the end of the story. <\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Entertainment<br \/>\n\t\t\tVideos by ComicBook.com\t\t<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Bleach<\/em> had plenty to showcase for the franchise as it took the stage during the Anime Expo 2026 weekend, and <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/anime\/news\/bleach-announces-new-release-ahead-of-final-season-premiere\/\">that included a new look at the <em>Bleach Mirrors High<\/em> mobile game release<\/a>. This new title revealed the first look at what to expect from the next phase of the story, and it will be picking up right after the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. It\u2019s also going to introduce two new characters designed by Tite Kubo himself, and you can check them out below. <\/p>\n<div data-component=\"youtube-placeholder\">\n\t\t<template><\/p>\n<figure>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"BLEACH Mirrors High - 2nd Trailer\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lW1Wj-KfGhA?feature=oembed&#038;autoplay=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\t\t<\/template><\/p><\/div>\n<p><em>Bleach Mirrors High<\/em> has yet to confirm a wide release date for when it fully launches, but the concept for its story is immediately interesting right off the back. Because while Kubo technically ended the <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/anime\/news\/bleach-creator-returns-with-new-look-at-ichigos-son-ahead-of-anime-finale\/\">Thousand-Year Blood War arc with an epilogue set years after the fact<\/a> (and even returned for a one-shot that picked up the story with the start of a whole new arc), there was a great deal of time left unexplored in the story. We never really got to see the immediate fallout of Yhwach\u2019s defeat and what it meant for the three worlds. <\/p>\n<p>Tite Kubo revealed what he contributed to <em>Bleach Mirrors High<\/em> and explained that he had been involved with the project from the jump. He ended up working on the scenario for the story as well, which he teases is \u201cpartially related\u201d to the main canon. But Kubo also designed two new characters who will be the main focus, Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari. You can check out a closer look at their designs from Kubo\u2019s original sketches, and we\u2019ll have to see how they factor into the wider lore. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-when-does-bleach-s-final-season-premiere\">When Does Bleach\u2019s Final Season Premiere? <\/h2>\n<figure><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2026\/07\/Bleach-Mirrors-High-Game-New-Characters.jpg?w=1024\" alt  ><figcaption>Courtesy of Bandai Namco<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em>Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 \u2013 The Calamity<\/em>\u00a0will be making its debut on\u00a0July 25th as part of the Summer 2026 anime schedule, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/anime\/news\/bleachs-final-season-confirms-streaming-release-date-platform-ahead-of-premiere\/\">it will be streaming exclusively with Hulu in the United States<\/a>\u00a0and Disney+ in international territories. That means it won\u2019t be too much longer until we get to see how the anime will be adapting the final arc of the original Bleach series, and then they\u2019ll be able to enjoy this next step of the story through the game release. <\/p>\n<p>There are years unaccounted for in <em>Bleach\u2019<\/em>s final arc, and this could be the way to bridge that ultimate gap. But when it comes to a true continuation of the series, there are early rumors that tease that Tite Kubo is coming back for an <a href=\"https:\/\/comicbook.com\/anime\/feature\/bleachs-rumored-hell-arc-sequel-could-finally-make-fans-dreams-come-true\/\">official sequel expanding on the Hell Arc that began with the one-shot released a few years ago<\/a>. With how interested he\u2019s been in the ongoing anime and inventing new characters even for this mobile game, it definitely seems like Kubo\u2019s really thrown back into <em>Bleach<\/em>\u2018s world and could be willing to be back for more. <\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
