Kiefer Sutherland, the famous actor who also works as a touring musician, announced Friday that he will be canceling all performances in the United States due to low ticket sales.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith great disappointment I am going to have to cancel the U.S. leg of my tour due to very low ticket sales,\u201d Sutherland said on Instagram Friday. \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to half empty houses.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sutherland has already made multiple stops on the \u201cLove Will Bring You Home\u201d 2026 tour, including in Oslo, Stockholm and Vienna. The performer\u2019s website notes that this was meant to be his first tour in the United States in seven years.<\/p>\n

Sutherland released his first album, \u201cDown in a Hole,\u201d all the way back in 2016 before touring with The Kiefer Sutherland Band that year. His second album, \u201cReckless and Me,\u201d released in 2019, and his third, \u201cBloor Street,\u201d released in 2022. Sutherland\u2019s new album, \u201cGrey,\u201d is scheduled for May 29.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Sutherland found himself at the center of some legal troubles when he was arrested in January following an altercation with a ride-share driver<\/a> in Hollywood, Calif. The \u201c24\u201d star was booked at the time on suspicion of making felony criminal threats and released after posting $50,000 bail.<\/p>\n

Sutherland has been arrested multiple times over his career, leading to a brief jail sentence in 2007 after a probation violation. At the time<\/a>, he said he was \u201cvery disappointed in myself for the poor judgment I exhibited\u201d and apologized for causing \u201cdisappointment and distress.\u201d<\/p>\n
