football player<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\nI was eight years old, at first it was a rough start for me. I\u2019m in my first practice. My granddad, I was acting scared and then he came and got me out of practice and took me to the store, gave me a pep talk, I cried you know some of the things and I got me a powerade and I went back.\u00a0 And I\u2019ve been a beast ever since I was eight years old. So my family is why I started it but now I do it for me.<\/p>\n
What are your favorite moments from your football life?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy favorite moment was my sophomore year in a conference championship game, I broke my wrist in the midst of the game. And I continued to play on it and I ended up catching two interceptions with the same broken wrist and then we won the championship and it just felt like that was the best day of my life.<\/p>\n
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nI would say Darrelle Revis. Just to get his knowledge and of what he has done because that\u2019s my role model and who I try to model my game after.<\/p>\n
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nI will say a 4-2-5 because it\u2019s the most flexible scheme there is. Also that\u2019s what I\u2019m used to because I\u2019m a man to man corner, I like to run man\u00a0so I can get in the slot, outside or I will follow on the opposing team\u2019s best player.<\/p>\n
What stands out about your film the most?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy foot work is what I\u2019ve been told from coaches that have recruited me is outstanding. Foot work\u00a0and my patience, my patience Is what I\u2019ve been told by receivers so that is what stands out the most to me as well.<\/p>\n
What should we know about Cam Williams the person?<\/strong><\/p>\nI\u2019m goofy, I\u2019m kind of, sort of a gym rat, family guy and I love chicken.<\/p>\n
What do you love the most about the game of football?<\/strong><\/p>\nWhat I love the most about football is how it translates to real life situations. It\u2019s gonna get tough. It makes you a better man. You see things differently, analyze things and you gotta work hard you know what I\u2019m saying, nothing\u2019s going to be handed to you, you got to go and get it. So it translates to life a lot for me so that\u2019s why I love it.<\/p>\n
Who is the most underrated player you\u2019ve played with and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nI want to say this guy named Malachi Oglen, he was my other cornerback from my sophomore year. He\u2019s very underrated, he\u2019s actually an off-man guru.<\/p>\n
What would a team get in a player like you?<\/strong><\/p>\nA hard worker, I\u2019m determined, relentless and my drive. I got experience, I\u2019ve been a starter since my freshman year. And I\u2019m a winner. I\u2019m a team guy so I do whatever it takes to win and help win.<\/p>\n
