Atalanta midfielder Ederson revealed his impending move to Manchester United is “almost done”, following Brazil’s victory over Haiti at the World Cup.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ederson replaced\u00a0Bruno Guimaraes from the bench in Brazil’s 3-0 win at\u00a0Philadelphia Stadium on Friday, and afterwards, he\u00a0was keen to address his future at club level.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Atalanta have\u00a0reportedly accepted a\u00a0\u20ac40.5m (\u00a334m)\u00a0fee plus \u20ac4.5m (\u00a33.5m)\u00a0in potential bonuses for Ederson to join Michael Carrick’s side ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is understood the Brazilian has agreed a four-year contract with an option for a further extension, as the Red Devils look to improve their midfield following Casemiro’s departure.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ederson’s switch to Old Trafford looked set to go through in early June, but he received a late call-up to Brazil’s World Cup squad after Flamengo’s Wesley suffered an injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia after Friday’s match, Ederson said: “I have to wait. Now I have to enjoy this moment, then we will see.<\/p>\n
“Certainly, everything is almost done, but now I have to enjoy this moment. This is a wonderful experience, and you have to enjoy it the most.”<\/p>\n
