On Friday, the Boston College football program added its 25th commit in the class of 2027,\u00a0 picking up consensus three-star defensive\/offensive lineman Corey Randolph out of Simeon High School (Chicago, Ill.).<\/p>\n

Randolph, who had 17 total Division-I offers, chose the Eagles over Miami, Stanford, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

He announced his decision on X, just two hours after posting about his official visit to the Heights.<\/p>\n

With a 6-foot-4, 305-pound frame, Randolph is ranked the 151st defensive lineman in the country and the 43rd player from Illinois in his class, according to 247Sports.<\/p>\n

As of late, BC\u2019s recruiting staff has made a strong push to improve its interior defense in the class, as Randolph\u2019s commitment marks the fifth defensive-line commit in the Eagles\u2019 \u201827 class since last week.<\/p>\n

This class \u2014 the second under BC head coach Bill O\u2019Brien \u2014 is now ranked No. 39 in the country on 247Sports, along with No. 55 on Rivals.<\/p>\n
