The report acknowledges that the Italy international has been made a ‘top target’ by Man United chiefs.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, a plan is in place to ‘make a massive offer’ in order to convince Newcastle to sell one of their most prized assets.<\/p>\n

Despite the 26-year-old being a key player at St James’ Park, the fact that his contract is due to expire in 2028 may force the Magpies’ hand.<\/p>\n

The potential is there for Man United to move swiftly for Tonali, recognising the importance of adding a world-class name to their midfield ranks.<\/p>\n
