He will never play a down at Texas Tech. Sorsby will dismiss the lawsuit in Lubbock County, Texas, that gave him a temporary injunction restoring his NCAA eligibility for 2026. Then, he will apply to enter the NFL supplemental draft.\u201d<\/p>\n Sorsby also issued a vague statement: \u201cI am grateful for the support from my family, my Tech coaching staff, teammates, the community, and so many others who have encouraged me to address and learn more about this important issue. As my journey continues, I remain fully committed to and focused on being the best I can be both on and off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n Assuming his Supplemental Draft plan goes through without hiccups, all 32 teams will be able to \u201cbid\u201d on his services later this month or in July. <\/p>\n PFSN Names the Vikings as a Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n Of course, because of his sheer talent and upside, the question becomes: where will Sorsby land after his muddy collegiate exit?<\/p>\n PFSN\u2019s Ryan Gosling \u2014 not that one \u2014 argued Minnesota on Monday<\/a>: \u201cThe usual QB-needy teams should easily be a factor for Brendan Sorsby, particularly the Browns and Jets, who are both projected to have an excess of early and mid-round capital in the 2027 NFL Draft. In Minnesota, Sorsby would present an investment in the type of talent McCarthy has proven not to match, for a potential bargain price.\u201d<\/p>\n Sorsby\u2019s Bio<\/strong><\/p>\n Sorsby\u2019s physical attributes are ideal: 6-foot-3, 235 pounds, possessing the NFL-ready build evaluators seek. The gambling allegations will persist until he definitively demonstrates they are behind him, which is the crux of his evaluation. <\/p>\n Absent his off-field issues, Sorsby would undoubtedly be discussed as a legitimate 1st-Round prospect for next April\u2019s draft.
