Copyright: ImagoxThor Wegner DeFodixImages<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi is on the verge of reaching his 100th cap with the Nigerian National team, and his Father, Chuka, is delighted his son has come this far, <a href=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Soccernet.ng<\/a> reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iwobi started as a youth international for England, winning the Victory Shield in 2011, before switching allegiance to play for Nigeria in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>His debut came in October 2015, when he played 33 minutes against DR Congo. The 30-year-old has gone on to play 98 more games for the Green and Whites, scoring ten goals.
