{"id":911176,"date":"2026-06-08T10:12:21","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T15:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/08\/justin-suns-htx-delists-trump-familys-usd1-amid-freeze-fight\/"},"modified":"2026-06-08T10:12:21","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T15:12:21","slug":"justin-suns-htx-delists-trump-familys-usd1-amid-freeze-fight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/08\/justin-suns-htx-delists-trump-familys-usd1-amid-freeze-fight\/","title":{"rendered":"Justin Sun\u2019s HTX delists Trump family\u2019s USD1 amid freeze fight"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-testid=\"post__body\">\n<p>HTX, the crypto exchange linked to crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun, delisted the Trump family\u2019s USD1 stablecoin after claiming World Liberty Financial wrongly froze the exchange\u2019s addresses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project team recently stated that it has unilaterally imposed a freeze on specific HTX on-chain addresses based on sanctions compliance reviews,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.htx.com.ph\/support\/45035071774048\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a> HTX on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result, the on-chain circulation of certain WLFI assets associated with these addresses has been restricted,\u201d it said, adding it delisted USD1 to safeguard user assets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/uk-sanctions-htx-huobi-russia-support\">UK sanctioned HTX<\/a>, formerly called Huobi Global, on May 26, claiming there were \u201creasonable grounds to suspect\u201d the exchange had supported Russia\u2019s government through financial services.<\/p>\n<p>However, HTX said the sanctioned entity, Huobi Global S.A., is \u201cdistinct from the online HTX exchange\u201d and that such a designation <a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/htx-denies-uk-sanctions-allegations-as-new-data-flags-76b-in-russia-linked-flows\">should not impact<\/a> the platform.<\/p>\n<figure><img alt src=\"https:\/\/s3-images.ctmedia.io\/media\/content\/pasted-image-1367.png\" width=\"603\" height=\"532\" data-original=\"https:\/\/s3-images.ctmedia.io\/media\/content\/pasted-image-1367.png\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"><\/figure>\n<p><em>Source: <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/HTX_Global\/status\/2063237150574018985\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><em>HTX<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The delisting took effect on Sunday.
