SBI Chairman and CEO Yoshitaka Kitao said the decision reflects how quickly AI technology is evolving and why financial institutions need to prepare for that future.<\/p>\n

\u201cAI performance is evolving at an accelerating pace,\u201d adding that the SBI Group has already made AI-driven initiatives a strategic goal. He also noted that financial institutions must build security systems capable of keeping up with the world\u2019s most advanced AI technologies while continuing to provide safe and secure services to customers.<\/p>\n

As part of the agreement, Anthropic will give SBI priority access to Claude\u2019s latest models, security features, product roadmaps, and engineering support.<\/p>\n

New Financial AI Services Could Be Next<\/h2>\n

The partnership goes beyond improving employee productivity. SBI and Anthropic plan to jointly develop AI agents tailored for Japan\u2019s financial sector while ensuring they comply with local regulations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
