Dubbed the Seven N\u00fcrburgring Edition, the car pays homage to 100 years of the legendary racing circuit after which it&#8217;s named.<\/p>\n<p>Just 100 examples are to be sold globally, with each version based on either a Seven 420R or 340R, depending on which market the car is sold in. What&#8217;s\u00a0<em>not<\/em> market-dependent is the bespoke racing suspension fitted to the cars.<\/p>\n<section data-widget=\"attached-photogallery\">\n<p><h2>\n                        Gallery: Caterham Seven N\u00fcrburgring Edition                    <\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>Caterham has turned to Bilstein for help developing this unique suspension setup. The system was engineered at Bilstein&#8217;s test facility and is optimized around the demanding requirements of the &#8216;Ring itself.<\/p>\n<p>Visual upgrades include N\u00fcburgring branding on the car, a red roll bar, carbon front wings, and a composite aero screen.\u00a0 There&#8217;s more &#8216;Ring branding on the interior trim, four-point harnesses, and an individually numbered plaque.<\/p>\n<p>Each version comes powered by a Ford-sourced 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, good for 210 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. That mill is backed up by a five-speed manual gearbox. The entire affair, once assembled, delivers a 0-60 mph dash of 3.8 seconds, a top speed of 136 mph, and track day glory as the driving experience is nearly unparalleled.<\/p>\n<p>Pricing here in the States starts at $56,595 for a rolling chassis. So buy one, break out your tools, and get to work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Motor1&#8217;s Take<\/strong>: Occasionally, a limited-edition version of an already small-batch vehicle comes off as a simple money grab.
