Don Jazzy<\/a>, has shared that he is cautious about speaking negatively about fame and success.<\/p>\nSpeaking on a recent episode of the Keeping It Real With Jima podcast, he explained that he avoids complaining about the challenges that come with fame because he fears it could cost him his blessings.<\/p>\n
According to him, he is mindful that expressing too much dissatisfaction might lead to losing the wealth and success he currently enjoys.<\/p>\n
The host asked: \u201cWhat\u2019s something success gave you that you actually didn\u2019t want?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nDon Jazzy replied: \u201cI like everything that God gave me. Obviously, there are sometimes that you just wish that somethings were different. But I\u2019m not wishing for anything different, I\u2019m just saying before God will now decide to adjust my life [laughs].\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nThe Mavin boss said he would like to be wealthier in his next life, noting that although he wants to impact more lives, he feels financially limited in doing so.<\/p>\n

In an interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Bounce Radio, the Mavin Records founder disclosed that he was often teased because of his appearance while in school. He noted that the constant mockery negatively affected his self-esteem at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cGirls used to call me ugly in university and no one wanted to be my girlfriend. It affected my confidence, and that\u2019s why I\u2019m shy and struggle to speak in public till today. It is also why I find it hard to believe when a woman tells me she truly loves me. Most of them are now rushing me now, why didn\u2019t they love me then?\u201d <\/em>he said.<\/p>\nDon Jazzy explained that those early experiences still affect him today, as they make it somewhat difficult for him to completely believe or accept when people express love toward him, even with his fame and achievements in the music industry.\n<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
